Thomas,my grdfather went to the Philippines in 1898 with the USArmy.He did not go back to the States.He got married 1)Victoria Ebron 2)Valentina Sumo Valdez of Tarlac.The Valdez-Embry couple raised their family in Paniqui.Thomas died @ Paniqui in 1945.It is part of my family lore that the couple were friends with the other Thomasites assigned in Tarlac province.A Mr. Parks is a name I remembered mentioned several times by my family.I will appreciate any info.
