My grandfather's brother was a Thomasite. I do have some information, but it is limited. Price W. Cooper came to the Philippines in 1901 on the SS Thomas, and died of smallpox in 1903. He is buried in North Cemetery, Manila. His letters to his family in West Virginia were edited for historical content and published in Manila as a part of American Philippine History. Please respond if you have specific question. I found my Great-Uncle's 50 page "diary" in the historical journal by typing in the name of the Journal on Google search. Amazing! The company of rare Asian books had just one copy of that edition which I purchased for $20! I call that a miracle, or at least God's blessing to Price's family.
