i am trying to find information on my great grandfather who i've been told was an American school teacher sent by the American government to teach the local children of Anini-Y, Antique, Panay Island. His name was Andrew Murphy - he went back to America when he fulfilled his required # of service years. Some of my relatives think he may have been situated in Barrio Magdalena - if anyone has any information of where to look for more info or which government agencies I should approach to conduct my research and find a log of ALL the American teachers that got sent to the Philippines -- I would really appreciate it - thanks much-
