eg I've made the occasional mention of old & somewhat - now - obscure animation such as Max Fleischer's Out Of The Inkwell from the 1920s : My main point is that Iain is under no obligation ( & nor should he feel he should be ) Little Gems doesn't need to be encyclopedic in its approach or content, & its approach of being intuitive in its selection of programs coupled with its great information / illustrations forms a huge part of its charm. This is all pretty obvious I would hope but I thought it might be worth articulating it.
ie Iain's putting up stuff which he likes a lot or thinks is important for whatever reason & everyone discusses whatever they want to as long as its either to do with the general area ( children's TV ) or related areas ( eg books inspiring or based on such TV, cinema stuff later shown on TV etc
Not strictly part of the remit but of possible interest to some of the site users ( perhaps ! )
to attempt to be "comprehensive" :
In fact one of the sites strengths is its individualism - ie it goes where Iain's fancy takes him; producing all sorts of stuff from many genres & many decades.
He is of course open to & appreciative of reasonable suggestions, which is great.
