Hi there,
The drama was called "Escape into Night" from the book Marianne Dreams by Catherine Storr which she wrote in 1958 (hence quite an old story).
Marianne is the name of a young girl who is not very well and forced to stay in bed in her bedroom. She spends all her time drawing in a book. One time she draws a picture of a house and later that night she dreams about that very house. She then draws some strange looking standing stones outside with what look like eyes on the stones. She then dreams about what he has drawn and enters another terrifying dream world. She is then told a sick boy who had been hurt and could not walk. She draws the boy (called Mark in the real world) but then scribbles out his legs which causes him to be disabled in the dream world. The standing stones then start to move towards the house as reality and her dreamworld seem to be the same.
A remake was made called "Paperhouse" but it was never really the same. The original was in black and white and scared the £$%@ out of me when I was younger.
Hope this is of some use
Cheers
