YES 
a fabulous 1970's cartoon about a modern day family swept away on a boating trip through a whirlpool, they end up befriending & living with a family in the prehistoric age.The idea for the cartoon may have been based on an earlier live action/animated mix show "Land of the Lost" by American children's show legends Marty Kroft productions, aka (H.R.Pufnstuf).
Both families co-existed & got themselves out of various predicaments by sharing ideas past & present
These adventures were of course helped along by an array of dinosaurs, giant prehistoric mammals & birds.Yes it's true that the vast majority of creatures existed long before the emergeance of man, but! at the time it made for one hell of a cartoon!
