Hi all 
Can anyone out there remember the animated tales "The Daily Fable?"
I think it was loosely based on the Aesop fables and featured an assortment of woodland creatures, the main one being an owl who i think was called 'Olly Beak."
I think the series was a stop animation puppet production, much like Barnaby,Trumpton etc.It was aired on ITV during the early 1970s at around 5.10/15 in the afternoon.
The remainder of my vague recollections concerning this series was that at the end of each episode, the owl would say 'heads onto pillows,beaks under wings,goodnight.'
Any memories out there ???????????
