Devlin was a terrible one frame per second cartoon cashing in on the Evil Kinevil craze of the time and was about Ernie Devlin and his brother and sister (i think) who worked in a travelling carnival doing motorcycle stunts, but also solving whatever crimes were in the vicinity that the carny was visiting. The Big blue Marble, was either American or Canadian and was about visiting children from all over te world and observing how different their lives were and invited viewers to become pen friends at the shows end (very forward thinking) Lassie was just Lassie and to say i liked it would be a lie, as after i'd come home from school i would watch absolutely anything on kids tv till the 5.45 news with Alistair Burnet. All tese sows were about 1974 i tink.
Its interesting what you say about Catch Kandy, as i am from Yorkshire but now in Oz and my Oz mrs has seen nearly every English kids TV show of any substance that i watched, but she has never seen or heard of Catch Kandy, which i really enjoyed and i thought was very strange as The Lost Islands was aroundish the same time, was a big hit and was shown on both sides of the Atlantic and must have the Best theme ever with the most elaborate lyrics. I can still remember the tune for Catch Kandy as clear as day though and will try to chase it up over here now that you've mentioned it.
Phewww! dissertation done for today!
Keep up the good work on a great site, i beamed to death when i saw your pics of the classic game Cascade as myself in England and her indoors in Oz both had one, but we had both forgotten (well my sis ad one but i adopted)
Remember that old spy board game with the microdots hidden and the magnifying glasses to see them? I forget its name
