as far as years go I'm open to just about anything but may shy away from AMF years, ugly as in lightly crashed, rust, paint, chrome ascetics doesn't worry me, I don't want one thats been ridden into the ground, I hope to cover some serious miles on it. my last 20 years of riding (and working on) has been on all different types and years of Jap bikes and am interested in a HD now that speed and intercity agility isn't a major concern. I'm planing on hitting some tourist areas and look for crashed rental bikes, but I've had plenty experience bringing old bikes back to life that were forgoten about in the back yard..
but I'm mainly looking for a good deal. thanks!
