It is compatable with any bike, and has a specific input for a 1150 RT radio. It is the same as the 4 universal input Ultima model but 3 universal inputs plus the one for the BMW radio.
so you can connect 3 devices such as MP3, phone, radio, VHF radio, etc, plus intercom capability.
If your 1200 has a BMW radio the question therefore is it the same radio as the 1150. if so then the radio is plug and play - if not then it is simply another input
