Going to college made me realize how bad you really are treated in the Marines. All you high school kids should really think about what the Marine Corps is asking of you. You poolees and what not have no idea what you are in for. If I could have done it again I would have gone to college out of high school. Just my two cents take it or leave it.

No it isnt that bad. However you are right in saying that the Marine Corps sucks. I am proud to have served, but nothing short of 6 figures would get me to stay in the suck. Im in the reserves with 2 tours in the box with the grunts, God knows a third is probably coming. And for what so some chicken hawks in Washington can dish out their idealogy at the expense of soldiers and Marines lives?
