Okay, that makes sense. I am going to REALLY research this to make sure this is what I really want to do. I've already learned a lot by reading forums and information from the internet. I plan on buying books as well, so hopefully they'll give me insight as to what life is like in the Marine Corp.

Thank you so much for responding! I'm 17 right now, but I plan on going to college for a couple years BEFORE I make a definite decision to sign-up for the Marines.
