I am in the DEP and scheduled to ship out soon. I wanted a certain MOS and my recruiter tells me it's not available until next year, and that my best bet it to go in open contract, and request it at a later date. Is it possible for me to wait to get the job or should I follow his advice? It seems like a bad idea to me, and I'm not sure what to do.
