I have two MARPAT field hats, woodland and desert. They are both made by the same manufacturer. They both came from the same Navy Exchange (Pensacola). For some reason, the desert field hat is smaller. Is there a reason why it is smaller?
I was wondering what most Marines prefer, the wide brim or the smaller item.
My other question is about CamelBaks. What is the best way to clean them in a situation where commercially available cleaning tablets are not available?
