I dont know how to handle her!

i'm having trouble with my 5-year-old, mare Chincoteage Pony. Sounds harmless, right? well, i just bought her at Christmas time and I had been rider her for about 3 years in advance. I've got a great trainer and all, but my mare, anna, just has a complete mind of her own, all devoted on tricking her rider and being as stubborn and resentful as she can. She throws her head and bites contstantly. What should i do??
