Posted by Helen Also, I really like First 1,000 Words (scholastic) by Usborne books. Gives you lots of rich vocabulary in lots of picture settings (farm, town, bakery, school, home, body parts, etc). Also has place you can record short vocalizations/sentences for immediate feedback. Use for language development and also look for artic words in the scenes. Costs about 19.00 on the market. Also, the kids really love the Scholastic I Spy series- have them find artic words, lang dev, anything you want you can repurpose for.

I enjoy using Locutour Articulation program on discs, easy to use, children get a kick out of it, instant voice recording of artic practice using regular pc microphone, color photographs. Some of the words are harder for younger kids, but I just skip over them if need be. You need all 3 discs. Look in Super Duper catalog, other catalogs have them too. You can get a print out of accuracy, too. Around 99.00 per disc. If your system buys a lot they will give you 10% discount if you ask.
