Our local United Way has established a recycling program for printer ink cartridges. Free plastic mailing envelopes (postage paid) are provided to anyone who requests them. You simply put used cartridges into the envelope, seal it, and drop it in the mailbox. It costs you absolutely nothing, helps to save the environment, AND--for each cartridge that is received at the recycling center, $1.00 is donated to the local United Way.
