I just wanted to share my new, favorite therapy tool...the digital voice recorder. I bought it recently from Radio Shack for $100. There are no tapes and it comes with software, so you can save speech samples (from evaluations or data collection) on your computer. I plan to use the samples to show IEP progress. It is also great to help my students monitor their own productions. They love to listen to themselves! Plus, if you record each child individually there is no rewinding! Awesome!
