Posted by mlk I really like it for borrowing graphics and for writing computer instructions. Maybe someone else will find it useful too.

A Mac tip that has saved me oodles of time is the ability take a "snapshot" (complete with a camera shutter snap sound) of almost any item on my computer screen and copy it to the clipboard to use in a document or another application. The command is: "Open Apple/Command" key + "Control" key + "Shift" key + "4" key. Hold the first three keys down and then press "4". The computer's pointer is converted into a cross bar. Position the cross bar just beyond the upper left hand corner of the item on your screen that you wish to take a picture of, click and drag the mouse the the bottom right hand corner of the item and release the click. "Snap!" That image has now been copied to your clipboard and can be pasted into a Claris or Boardmaker or just about any other document following the procedures for pasting graphics for that application.
