I use Power Point to have students work on writing. I import pictures from the Internet about subjects my students are interested in, e.g. sharks, penguins, etc. I then type in direcctions telling the students what to write about. After the first draft, we print out the slides. I review them prior to the next therapy session and give the students suggestions for editing their work. After the presentation is done, the students can save it on a disk and take it home or show it to their class. They can also print out a full color hard copy of their report. I have found this to be a very motivating activity for writing. It also teaches the student how to make a Power Point presentation themselves.
