Posted by minime on 2/7/2002, 6:05 pm On several occassions, we've had to reload the BM libraries because our teachers DIDN'T do this. Instead, to make a label disappear, they went to Picture Name Change....AND DELETED IT! Guess what happened when they tried to locate that symbol again?! And they didn't do this just on one or two symbols...they wiped out a good chunk of the libraries! Good grief!
Amen! In the same vein, make sure you hide labels the safe way. If you want to use a symbol without a label, go to the right of the symbol in the library, to LINE ONE, and drag to HIDDEN. That will hide the label when you paste the picture on your board, but it will not permanently remove it.
