Bellingham Buzz
Tomorrow is the waiver draft, please have your picks in by 10 pm at the latest.
A couple of reminders with your picks:
1.Make sure you double check that the player you are putting on IR is actually listed on the Injuries link above.
2.Double check the position of the player you want to draft on the Positions link above, and list the position and team he is on.
3.Check the 2009 Draft link to see if the player you want is already drafted to another team, using the CTRL F button, you can just type in the last name to see if he is on that page.
4.Be specific about your draft order and make sure you have enough alternatives if the player you want first is already taken.
Tom has an excellent way of doing this, listing a bunch of players in the order he wants, then simply asking for that position for each round. And if he is looking for a specific player in a later round that may or may not be available, he gives the option to draft the highest available in another position.
Doing the prep work for the waiver draft makes a huge difference in getting it right the first time, and the first draft always seems to be the biggest. So I appreciate you taking the time to make it as simple and painless a process as possible.
Send your requests to kthor@shaw.ca and if you have questions you can text me at 604-816-0645.
Thanks,
Keith
