I guess this message officially kicks off the 2009-10 season for us.
Here's what the four teams in the lottery have predicted for this Saturday's Seahawks/Broncos game at Qwest Field this Saturday night.
Mark Palmer (Whistler) - 70
Dave Barton (Vancouver) - 31
Peter Horncastle (Coquitlam) - 30
Brad Clarke (Penticton) - 25
Whoever is the closest without going over wins. If everyone goes over, the lowest score that is closest wins.
Any other teams that are under will fill out the 2nd and 3rd spots before teams that are over are counted.
So if the total is 70 or higher, Mark wins, Dave 2nd, Peter 3rd, Brad 4th
If it is 31 to 69, Dave wins, Peter 2nd, Brad 3rd, Mark 4th
If it is 30 exactly, Peter wins, Brad 2nd, Dave 3rd, Mark 4th
If the total is 29 or less, Brad wins, Peter 2nd, Dave 3rd, Mark 4th.
Between Peter and Mark, whoever does the best in this lottery, picks 2nd in the expansion draft.
So Theo, if you can be ready with your protected list of 12, along with the super-protected list of four by Saturday evening, I will follow.
Then Troy, you will be right after me. Then its Chris, Keith, and Mark. So be ready to go this Sunday with your lists boys.
