It was a close vote betwen guys named Alexei. Nanaimo's Alexei Kovalev, and NorthShore's Alexei Ponikarovski, but the champion won out.
This year's playoff MVP is Alexei Kovalev.
Habs fans can only dream that this would happen in the first round of the NHL playoffs.
