Wow.... the Spokane Rednecks pull out all the stops at home. Well, at least one player, Backstrom,a guy that the GM was putting on the Bus only a few months ago. Funny how things turn out. Northshore had great great scoring on the RW but that was about it. Series in favor of Northshore (3-2) going back to Squeegie land.
Over in the Whaler Village, Ovechkin saved Bellinham's bacon by getting six points. Nanaimo's players Chris Drury and Martin Havlat got four each, but having "No Goalie" did not things so the game went into overtime.
In overtime, the first tie breaker is the next best players (both had players with two) so the next was the better goalie (nanaimo had No Goalie)so Bellinham Wins in Double OT!!!
