Interesting that Lundqvist got top goaltender and still only made the second all-star team.
The thing I've found interesting about the awards ballots, is you can simply pick who had the most points at any position and get your ballot that way. But then you might as well save everybody the time of doing the research and just give the awards to whoever has those points. To me though, the are a lot of players who should get more consideration just because they get a lot of points even though there are players on the same team at the same position who get a ton of points. On the Buzz for example, Elias could have gotten a lot more points on another team, but Ovechkin was got a lot of nights with 4 points when Elias got 3 so they didn't count. Perhaps we just give the awards to whoever has the highest points for each position and just pick a second all-star team and a rookie team.
ps... I did submit a ballot.
pps... Hey Tom, on the playoff page, think there is a score missing from the first series between the Buzz and Seattle HC. It went to 6 games and it only shows the score for 5. Thanks.
