With three games to go, no team is going to break any new highs, or new lows, but some inviduals to watch would be the Malkin/Ovechkin race, and don't count out Parise for the highest season total ever of 116 set by old Nanaimo's Jagr in 05/06.
Mike Green is on fire but it would be tough to beat Bellingham's Brian Leetch's old record of 79 from 00/01.
Steve Mason will place a solid 2nd in the rookie goalies catagory, and Kamloops' Nabokov set the impossibly high mark of 104 goals prevented in 00/01.
No other goalie records will be broken this year.
Start thinking about the awards for this year.
I'll send out the ballots at the end of the week.
We need to select the MVP, the MVP goalie, the top forward, top defenseman and what could be the toughest to decide - rookie of the year. If you don't vote, your players are not eligible for the award.
Start making your case on the board as to why your guy should win. In the NHL I think Drew Doughty should win the Calder. 25+ minutes a game from an 18/19 year old at the toughest position to play - defense. But in the PNFHL I know his numbers aren't there to challenge Ryan, Versteeg or Mason, but he's worth a look.
