It's now apparent that the Nobel is bestowed as second place prize to losers. For instance, BO lost the Olympics and wins the Nobel. Gore lost the Presidency and wins the Nobel (and as a bonus an Oscar). Carter lost his mind and won the Nobel. Gorbachev lost his wall and won the Nobel. Arafat lost his camel and won the Nobel. Past nominees also include Hitler and Stalin. The Nobel prize is the legacy of Alfred Nobel, whose primary contribution to mankind was the invention of dynamite. For that notoriety Alfred Nobel was often referred to in the European community as the "merchant of death". The best comment overheard from White House staff about BO's award - "Is this April 1st?" Looks like Norway must be vying for this administration's next bailout!
