Karen called me Sunday to tell me she was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma cancer a week and a half ago. She said she had cancer masses in a shoulder and hip and has had her first of six rounds of chemo. We had quite a lengthy conversation and she seems in good spirits but unsure of what's to come.
Karen isn't able to use her computer right now but if you'd like to call or send a note, contact me (click on my name in the posted by area) or Bart and we will provide you with her address and/or phone number. I can't post that information here because I have no idea who is looking in and reading this.
Please pass this on to anyone you think would want to know. Karen was involved in so many things at school, in her church, and with the Girl Scouts that I don't know all those she associated with. I know from experience hearing from old (as in long time) friends really helps.
