Do you think Arnie gets that the people of California are saying we don't want our public services cut, we want public services to cut their expenses. I don't. I haven't heard of any suggestions of lowering wages earned by these employees, just job cuts and threats to the public. I don't know what the magic number is but I think all government employees (federal, state and local), should take at least a 10% cut in pay. In today's market, there are plenty of people who are over qualified willing to work for less than what these lazy employees are making.
And who paid for Arnie to fly in a private jet to DC yesterday? Where did he sleep and how much did that cost, not to mention everything else that goes with being out of town? And yes you can explain to the President I have run the State of California into a hole and now does not have the funds for me to make this trip to sit in the audience rearing an ugly tie while you tell the auto makers the new pollution rules are going to be what California has.
