Aside from their personal tragedies (loss of Son and cancer) why the new book? She wrote one in 2006 about their family and health struggles. Aren't they still married and living together? I don't get it. It's been said that she knew about Johnny's indiscretions while he was running for President. Doesn't that make her somewhat complicit in helping to raise ill-fated funds for his campaign knowing that his Prez run would be derailed once word got out as it eventually did? Again - why the book?
It's apparent though that the Edwards are not nearly as Teflon as the Clintons who faced the same a similar deal but came away scott free (well - until of course that blue dress thing). I suppose that's one good thing about having Barney Frank as a Dem leader - chances are nil that he'll ever be caught in a scandal with another woman.
