indeed very sad - what they're not saying is what she might have hit her head on - ice? equipment? a wall? a tree? a walkway? it's hard to believe it was just snow. Thinking back on my feeble skiing days - I don't remember my head ever coming close to the ground - especially on a bunny slope. Now snowboarding is another story - my Sister's son and a close friend of the family were both killed from that nasty sport.
