and while we're still in an interrogating mood - let's make each "aye" voting member (both parties) of the House, the Senate and the President sit in the same hot seat and on National TV defend each of the pet projects that amount to well over a half trillion of our tax $$$ included in the rushed Economic Recovery Package and explain again how these expenditures are going to help us out. At least it will give all consenters the time and opportunity to actually read the contents of this gigantor funding bill for the first time.
On a slightly different note - just read where financially strapped Counties throughout the State are cutting off non-emergency health services for illegal aliens. It's bizarre that it took such an occurrence to effectuate such policy. And finally, the nationalized health care system in Great Britain just denied an amazing life saving kidney/stomach cancer prescription drug to 1000's of Brits because of its cost - the same drug that my significant other Diane was just issued for a $3 co-pay by San Bernardino County's Health Care Program. - the retail price of the drug is $8000 for 28 pills (4 week supply). She needs to take it for 12 months. Thank you San Bernardino County!
