Anyone done any redecorating lately? I know why they only show before and after pictures and not "during" ones. The during pictures would have shown me with a gun pointed at the workers and/or the contractors.
Nobody talks to each other. I think it is all communicated and then the work begins and I'm stopping them to re-educate them to the plan. And this was the most reputable company out of four.
I stopped 3 mistakes in tiling the bathroom and 2 mistakes today in the carpeting and there is still 2 phases to go next week.
I say all this to say: When they try to tell you that you don't have to be home while the work is being done DO NOT BELIEVE them.
P.S. BTW, did you know that it is illegal to manufacture carpet matting over 1/2 inch thick?
Two many people (probably the older ones) were breaking their ankles by not havine sure footing.
