I never had a McDonalds hamburger until the one in Temple City opened...think I was in high school by then. We went to Square Burger on Rosemead Blvd. south of Mission Dr. (now a Karate studio next to the In-and-Out) once or twice a year...it was called going out to dinner and was considered a special treat for mom. My brothers and I weren't allowed to talk above a whisper, weren't allowed to leave the table and run up and down the aisle, or drink our milk until the dinner was served.
The only credit card in our house was my mom's, it was a Liebergs card and only used in emergencies (which never happened).
I remember all but one of the 25 memories. My dad was a Chevy man (only had two cars and a truck that weren't Chevys in his life) so I don't remember the Packard.
Thanks Bart.
