I did finally get down to visit her Saturday. Now that she knows that Simon the Cat is doing okay and her hair is finally clean she has moved on to other concerns. She wanted to be sure to be able to vote in this election so I helped her order an Absentee Ballot.
She spoke about how much concern and support has surrounded her and I whipped out my church bulletin to show her she was on our prayer list. She mentioned that she has been put on other lists.
I was checking out some recent photos on my digital camera and saw the pix I took of her receiving her thank-you gift at the Reunion for all her work. It's incredible how fast times goes and how much has happened to her in the time since then.
I will be visiting her on Monday and Wednesday and then leaving for a retreat. Good time for others to call and visit if not before.
It takes a village and I'm glad to be part of this village that is pulling for her!
