that's very complimentary - Barry and Jack need all the positives they can get
but don't forget - the word "Great" was/is still being used to describe the Depression of '29 and WWI.
debates to me are silly and primarily a measure of one's ability to schmooze - so judge a man/women by their actions - not their words - have they ever actually done anything (like introduce laws, have a consistent voting pattern, made difficult/unpopular decisions etc) that resembles what they are speaking at these debates? I realize that no one but an incumbent or Grover Cleveland can ever actually know what it's like to be President - so what they have tangibly done in the past is critical. But with this having been said - 70-80% of the voters will vote along loyal party lines since they would be loathe to validate an opposition slate - no matter the color, sex or creed of the nominees.
If I were a betting man I'd have to say regardless of the debates that BO wins in a landslide because the true decision makers - those pesky undecideds - are probably more influenced by schmooze and style points.
Then again I predicted Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004 and look how that turned out.
