- Herr's Fire Roasted Sweet Corn potato chips...

Good lord, these things are good. I'm actually going to head back to the store tomorrow and buy a few more bags, because I suspect it's a limited time flavor - it's not listed on the Herr's site.
The sweet corn flavor is uncannily accurate. Unlike the "corn on the cob" flavors of microwave popcorn (that have the advantage of starting with an actual corn product), the flavor doesn't become overly chemical as you eat more. I know it's artificial flavoring, but I have to give Herr's credit.
I've been a fan of Herr's chips for quite some time. I think they're one of the very best at pulling off these offbeat flavors, and these Fire Roasted Sweet Corn chips are another swing and a hit. Probably not a home run, but a good solid hit.

Hi I'm from Tucson AZ. and i"m hoping to get a response from someone to let me know i can fing these incredible chips? We bought them late spring in 2009 from a nieghborhood Walmart. But by the end of summer they were nowhere to be found. If anyone knows where in Tucson i can find them please e-mail me. Thank you for your time. Skippy

PLEASE HELP!!!!!! WHERE CAN I FIND THEM????? BOUGHT SOME AT STOKE'S GRO. IN NEW ALBANY, MS. BUT THEY SAID THEY HAD LOST THERE REP.BUT WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ANOTHER! THEY WERE AWSONE!!!!!!! I too found these in Michigan and they taste just like the corn puffs they sell at KMart in the giant buckety-thing. There was also a Kansas City Prime Beef flavor as well.

noooooooooo! I just heard about these and how great they are. Have been to both Super Walmarts and both Kmarts in town - nada, nothing! I did find some puffcorn in that flavor but it wasn't very good. Not like what I have heard about the chips. I say we storm the Herr's factory and demand more!

some one brought in some of your fire roasted sweetcorn flavored chips. i went to the store where they bought them. i could not find them any where.wall mart i believe. please help me out. they were exelent you should market this flavor more thanx.

I found them at Wal-Mart in Lehigh Acres, FL. They are in the Summer BBQ aisle here. And since most Wal Marts follow a Plan-O-Gram set by Marketing, I'm going to be you'll find them there, too. You know it's an awesome chip when I google them online. Bravo, Hess, keep 'em coming.

I am also heading back to the store today to buy more Herrs sweet corn flavored chips! I can't believe how awesome the sweet corn flavor is and how strangely real it tastes! I think I'm going to buy 10-20 bags so they last me. I hope they are not sold out when I get there.

Jackie, my fellow corn-flavored chiplover, I have some bad news - it looks like we both better stock up while we can. I contacted Herr's, and here's what they had to say:
"Thank you for contacting our company and letting us know how
much you enjoy our Fire Roasted Sweet Corn flavored potato chips.
I am though sorry to say that we only make this product, unfortunately
for the Kmart or Super Wal-Mart store and then periodically."
SO... looks like we better get while the gettin's good. At least I'll take some comfort knowing that I won't be going through it alone.. haha...

I filled out an order form last night for the fresh corn potato chips.
Unfortunately my computer went off and I didn't get it sent.
Tonight I can't find the chips to order them again.
They were 22.50 per case.

Sweet Corn flavored potato chips; cannot find them at our super walmart store. Was told that they only came in periodically. That's too bad; I need my chips.

I bought one bag of sweet corn from walmart and they no longer sell them. i asked one of the people that work there and they didn't know a thing about them. like they seem to do most of the time. they potato chips rocks and were the best i ever had. i wished i could buy them from herr's compy but they don't sell them any more.

I cannot find any. I went to walmart in Norwich NY and there are none! What am I going to do, I can't live! hahahahahah! I'll just keep looking. Enjoy yours!
