I read your review and I don't think we both tried the same chips. I'm 48 and these are absolutely the HOTTEST things I've ever eaten outside of chomping down on an entire habanero or serrano pepper. The scent is not really bbq, but spice and lots of smoke. The HOT factor is near panic-inducing. I downed a 44oz soda in order to handle a 3.5 oz bag of these matchheads. They're hotter than those Warhead candies that used to be popular. I do agree that the spice powder is oddly RED and that the flavor is really good. More shrimp sauce than ketchup.
I have my totally respect for Uncle Rays. After having a huge battle with the heat my mind just got in a total orgasim. My dad tryed some he is 50 he just had three chips and said "well I'am full from chips." Just simply saying to hot to handle. Oh by the way im 19, just a young lad but i couldn't face the heat but still I finished the bag because it would be a wast of hot chips. I swear I would like to eat another bag but after that nightmare of an experience i just let my temtations go but I would buy a bag eventually. i agree with you and disagree to the taquitos staff not the hottest ok then.
