Does anyone remember Hostess grape, cherry and orange flavoured chips from the seventies? My girlfriend insists I'm going senile.
They weren't around long since they were absolutely vile. I still get queasy thinking about them

I remember buying the grape flavoured chips. Ate one chip, then another just to be sure, then threw the bag away. I was so pissed off, just tossed a quarter down the drain.

Yep they existed !! mid 70's and they were nasty!!! I remember the orange tasted like Tang !!! None I know seems to remember these so don't feel bad !

hey Dave, you are absolutely correct!
we were just talking about them at work & our conversation almost exactly mirrored your posting.... I asked if anyone remembered them & my neighbour said yes, they were gross!
So tell your girlfriend they did exist!
You should find a bag & make her eat them! lol.

I totally remember these chips! They came in grape, cherry and orange. I used to buy them just because I thought they were cool even though they tasted like crap! They are not a group hallucination! They actually existed!

Yes, they existed. It was in the late 70's or early 80's. I still remember tasting the orange flavour and spitting it on the ground. Biggest flavour mistakes hostess ever made. So no you are not going senile.

I remember them too, would've been around 1979-1980. I bought a bag of cherry flavour and was so disgusted I asked for a refund right away. I regret not saving a bag of each.
