Good lord, these things are good. I'm actually going to head back to the store tomorrow and buy a few more bags, because I suspect it's a limited time flavor - it's not listed on the Herr's site.
The sweet corn flavor is uncannily accurate. Unlike the "corn on the cob" flavors of microwave popcorn (that have the advantage of starting with an actual corn product), the flavor doesn't become overly chemical as you eat more. I know it's artificial flavoring, but I have to give Herr's credit.
I've been a fan of Herr's chips for quite some time. I think they're one of the very best at pulling off these offbeat flavors, and these Fire Roasted Sweet Corn chips are another swing and a hit. Probably not a home run, but a good solid hit.
