If I remember right John was just too wee for the game.He might have looked big in the school playground when he was younger but nowadays I would think most schoolkids would be bigger than him (I'll check wi the Janny). Ian, now if he hadn't been transferred south at an early age and then later plying his trade in Saudi he might well have made it into the team.Both of them had the credentials to be good enough as both are barred from every pub in Partick.
