I can concur with the former downy boy that a queens park scout came to watch Whitey on several occasions.This was in fact in his other capacity as a baby sitter.My uncle was that scout and he used to look after Wee Fat Whitey as he was known then and his brother David Mathew.Undoubtedly there seems a wee bit jealousy in the last contributer's comments about Tam. They seemed rather child like "unable to kick with both feet" etc. which makes me wonder if this person has just recently left school or has just started at the big school and most likely isn't any good himself at football.If he was I'm sure he might have tried for a game with the Rosevale Rangers.Then again maybe somebody has seen the contributer playing football and that is why he never made it into the Rosevale Rangers.If he was any good he would have said who he was and i could ask my uncle if he can recall him.good luck with your web site and hello to Big Whitey.
