Family lore has always assured that Martha Green was "full Cherokee" she was my great-grandmother, born NC abt 1856 and married in Blount County, TN, 1880 to Gainard Green. Died and buried in Roane County TN, 1923-absolutely no record of her death. Seeking info about her parents. Allegedly had a brother who ran a sawmill in Daisy Valley NC, a location I cannot find! If you can help, Thank YOU!
