I spoke with my aunt Pat for the first time in 45 years or so. We started by trading Emails. I got her address from my sister, Laura. Your sister has helped me alot with telling me the info I need to fill in my applaication to be recognized for who I am, a member of the Cherokee Nation. The proud great great great grandson of Chief William Hicks. All I need besides my birth certificate is Mothers, showing she is the daughter of Sarah Edwards, my granny and that's it. O yeah great grandmother's roll call number. She was in the final roll call, I have seen it, Leslie sent me a copy of their application. Cool. Aunt Pat sent me copies of her two books published and available on Amazon.com. It is late and it has been a hard week fixing ships here in the Harbor.
