dear cousin,leslie gave it to me,she is my sister.i didnt know the cherokee history till over 50 yrs old,so dont feel bad.leslie is very smart and looked up all the history,helped me and daughter become members of cherokee nation of oklahoma,without her hard work i would know nothing.in july will have granddaughter to enroll.i wish i had known years ago.maybe one day i can visit oklahoma and see gggrandparents graves.sarah stephens has a marker on grave,as survivor of trail of tears,from the state of oklahoma.
