Hi Sabrina. I believe I am the great great great great granddaughter of Williams Hicks and that Spencer and Sarah are my great great great grandparents. The link were I get confused is Jessie Edwards. That is my great great grandma, is she your great great grandma? I know she had a sister named Flossie and a brother Spencer, perhaps that's how you are related? I don't understand why Jessie's last name is Edwards, unless she married twice, because her married name is Nelson.
Anyway, what I do know is that Sarah went by the name "Sallie", at least when she while she was at the Cherokee Female Seminary. She and Spencer had a daughter Delia that died young? I have transcripts of letters and poems for Sarah if you are interested.
