I am the 4g-grandaughter of William Jackson and Winnie Green(e). The Green's were thought to be cherokee transplants into the new territory. This would have been before the trail of tears. Their daughter was Aruna Hart, and Her father's indian name was chief Bear Hart. I have heard that they are legends. What test could I take to prove that they were not legends, but existed. Any information would be helpful.
