Now Sunday evening after a very long night. In Volusia County and the wind still blowing, but much calmer. We did not get near the effects as Brevard and power restored this afternoon. As I understand it, the causeways are all still closed, and there has been no mention of Cocoa Beach on news today. Reported from the Pier all last night. Know their power went off and can only assume it is not back yet. Am anxiously awaiting some news. My prayers go out to all my friends and their families.
