I had about the same experience. I flew in on wed thinking that the hurricane was going to head west. So as the reports came in I knew I was stuck. So making the best of a bad situation I proceeded to drive to Jonathans Pub and hung out there Thurs and Fri. While staying with my parents in Cape Canaveral. The whole area was like a ghost town just a few cars in sight. We were lucky as far as power only lost it for 2 days. Mon I was able to get out and to check out the damage. All I can say unbelievable. Everysign and roof had some sort of damage to it and not to mention the power lines. I finally was able to fly out Tues . As I reflect on the weekend all I can say it was an experience that i will never forget.
